Like: Interview Process Is Really Weird And Not At All Good. They Shortlisted My Profile And While Initial HR Screening, Asked Whether I Am Okay For Relocation Which I Mentioned As Yes. Then HR Asked After First Round Of Interview, Second Round Will Be Face To Face And Will You Be Able To Attend? Which I Mentioned As No As I Live In Different State So Not Possible. Again They Were Asking But Are You Okay To Relocate? Like Were Most Companies Now A Days Take Virtual Interview Why Are You Guys Still Stuck In Old Days? Improve Your Interview Process And If Tou Don't Want Out Of Location Candidate Do Mention It In Job Description So We Will Not Apply.
Like: After Finishing My B.Tech, I Started A Job As A Full-stack Intern. But Things Got Tough Fast. The Pressure Was On From The Start, Mainly Because Of The Work Schedule We Had. They Told Us They'd Train 20 Of Us From My College For Three Months. Then, If We Did Well, We Could Become Full-time Employees. But That Didn't Happen. Most Of Us Got Let Go After Just One Month. It Wasn't Just About Not Meeting Their Expectations. It Felt Like They Pulled The Rug Out From Under Us. And It Wasn't Just Me. Even Some Of The Smartest People I Knew From College Got The Boot Too. So Why Promise Opportunities If They're Not Willing To Follow Through? It's Not Fair To Get Our Hopes Up Only To Let Us Down. They Should Either Commit To Helping Newbies Grow Or Not Hire Them In The First Place. It's About Keeping Your Word And Treating People Right.
Like: Looking Back At My Time As An Intern, One Moment Really Sticks Out And Hurts. I Tried My Best, Following What My Boss Said And Doing Everything Right. But When The Test Came At The End Of The First Month, I Did Great, Yet Still Got Let Go. It Felt Like A Punch In The Gut, Not Just For Me But For All Of Us. You See, 20 Of Us Were Picked From My College, And None Of Us Made It. Some Of Those Folks Were Really Sharp, You Know? But They Got Thrown Out Too. It Made Me Think, Why Give Us Hope If They're Not Going To Support Us? It's Not Fair To Promise Things And Then Take Them Away When We've Done Everything They Asked. For Me, And For Everyone Else Who Went Through This, It's Tough. It Shows That Sometimes, No Matter How Hard You Try, Things Just Don't Work Out. And That's Really Hard To Accept.
Like: This Company Is Not An Inclusive Place. I Worked At This Place In 2016 For A Period Of Less Than Two Months As A Content Writer. All That Is Good In This Company Is The Fancy Interior Work. Nothing Else. An American Company That Is Here To Exploit Cheap Indian Labor. Even The Indian Employees After Stepping Into The Company Become American In Their Habits. If You Are A Typical, Desi-style Conservative Indian, This Place Is A Hell For You. This Company Is A Place For Indians Not Bharatiyas Like Me. Importantly, You Are Punished For Speaking In Any Indian Language In The Office, Be It Tamil, Telugu Or Hindi. Luckily I Did Not Exhibit My Hinduism Through Kumkum Or Vibhoothi On My Forehead, Had I Done It May Be I Would I Have Been Looked Down For That As Well. Some Employees Just Put Up For 5 Plus Years In This Company Just To Get Themselves Eligible To Visit America. I Had A Very Very Bad Time In This Company. It Is An American Smoke That Is Blinding Indian Employees. So Much Fakeness Is Exhibited By Some Employees Here In Their Body Language, Mannerisms - Maybe They Want To Project Themselves As "modern" And "American". There Is One Guy Called Kevin, An American Who Keeps Moving His Work Station From Seat To Seat Just To Monitor You Through His Prying Eyes, A Cheap Trick Played On Their Employees In The Name Of Socialization, Employee Engagement. Another Colonial Trick Being Played Out On Bharathiya Employees, With The Power Of White Skin On The Gullible Us. Today, I Am Doing Well In My Career As A Corporate Lawyer. Very Happy To Say I Quit This Company At The Earliest.
Like: If There Is An Option To Skip Giving The Star Rating, I Would Have Done That. I Have Wasted My 2 Weeks Of Time During The Interview Process. People Call Them HR, Pretend Like A God As They Are Interviewing And Its Only Them Who Will Let You Cross The Boundary. What Happened In My Case Is That, I Passed The English Test, Then They Asked Me For 2nd Round Of Interview. The Position I Have Applied Was Asking For 0 To 2 Years Of Exp. I Had Same Field Experience But Not The Similar One & It Was Clearly Mentioned In The CV. But Unfortunately The HR Was Blind. She Missed That. Poor Guy, I Have My Sympathy With You. As Because She Missed That She Asked Me The Same Question During 2nd Interview And She Heard It From My Mouth As Because She Cannot See. I Think The Company Is Good As After Going Through Every Social Media Platform I Got That Idea But They Should Check And Hire Their HRs, Because There Is Something Called Screening Calls Before Asking For Any Kind Of Interview.
