The birth of the Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein, in the 1950s, resulted from the Jewish community's commitment to offering the Brazilian population a reference in quality medical practice.
But the Society wanted to go beyond simply building a hospital. And so it was done, built with resources from donations and the work of a group of dedicated people, the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein was opened in 1971.
From then on, it became a reference in treatments with cutting-edge technology, humanized care and expanded its borders with social responsibility actions and teaching and research activities.
Today, Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein is at the forefront of important projects, which show how public-private partnerships can bear fruit for the community.
Housed at the Instituto Israelita de Ensino e Pesquisa Albert Einstein, education and research activities are the engine of innovation that are not restricted to patients at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and encompass technical, undergraduate and postgraduate courses, sophisticated training and research clinical and experimental.
Einstein is today a healthcare system. Our seeds spread on different fronts and addresses, multiplying fruits for the benefit of patients, society and the Public Health System.
